Ms. Ellie Ng is a distinguished pianist, educator, and Steinway Honor Teacher based in Hong Kong, known for her exceptional performances and contributions to the musical community. She holds a Master of Music (MMus) degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she specialized in piano pedagogy and chamber music under the guidance of renowned educator Professor Gabriel Kwok. Her thesis, titled "Damper Pedaling in Debussy," was recognized by leading scholar Roy Howat, showcasing her deep understanding of impressionistic music.

In addition to her MMus, Ellie has earned a Professional Diploma from the Trinity College of Music in London and a Bachelor of Arts in Piano from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou. These academic credentials have provided her with a solid foundation in both performance and pedagogy.

Ellie is an accomplished performer, having held numerous solo recitals and chamber music concerts that have garnered high praise from audiences and critics alike. As a passionate educator, she has inspired many students, with numerous individuals winning prestigious piano competitions around the world. Her commitment to music education is further exemplified in her role as a musician liaison for the local charity organization Wewah, where she works to make music accessible to diverse communities.

Additionally, Ellie has served as a judge for notable events, including the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and the Hong Kong division of the Purcell International Youth Piano Competition, as well as the Rhein Klassik International Piano Competition in Germany.

A passionate collaborator, Ellie premiered the flute concerto "Sorrowful Empty Mountain" alongside flautist Chan King Chun at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall. She has also recorded with the principal trumpet player of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, further demonstrating her versatility and dedication to the art of music.
